About NZVet mentoring and Mentorloop

The Mentorloop platform is proving to be an effective tool in helping graduate veterinarians connect with mentors who have years of experience to share.

Provided as part of the NZVET Mentoring Support programme, participants are matched with the help of an algorithm. Once paired, the graduate can meet with their mentor to discuss ideas, and receive ongoing support with their work, wellbeing, goal setting and learning.

The NZVET Mentoring Support programme was developed by the Veterinary Council of New Zealand (VCNZ), in partnership with the New Zealand Veterinary Association, as part of our Continuing Professional Development Programme.

Mentorloop participants can take part in a free online training course which has been developed with Crampton Consulting Group.
