Counselling service for veterinarians

All veterinarians in New Zealand have access to a confidential, 24-7 phone counselling service with up to 3 free sessions per year. This service is jointly funded by the NZVA and the Veterinary Council. It's run completely separate to both organisations and we only receive summary usage information.

In the last quarterly report we received, we saw a small, but notable, increase in usage compared to previous quarters. It's great that people are making more use of this service and we strongly encourage all veterinarians to think about using it when you feel you may need it.
